LASIK PRICING

We charge two global fees for vision correction surgery, regardless of one’s level of correction or the presence or absence of astigmatism. One fee is charged for CustomVue LASIK and the other fee is charged for All-Laser LASIK. This means that there are absolutely no charges hidden by asterisks. Our pricing of LASIK is designed as a global fee with all pre and postoperative services performed exclusively by Dr. Benedetto, not technicians or paraprofessionals. When comparing fees, be sure all of the services below are included:

• Detailed LASIK evaluation, in addition to a complete eye examination by your surgeon, who should be a Board Certified Ophthalmologist as well as a Certified LASIK and Intralase (All-Laser LASIK) surgeon.

• All surgical facility fees performed in an outpatient facility dedicated to Laser Vision Correction.

• All routine postoperative care for one calendar year. (Our recommended postoperative visit schedule is:  1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.)

• All surgeon’s fees, administrative costs, preoperative patient consultation and routine postoperative appointments. The only additional cost which may be incurred is a royalty fee paid to the laser company should an individual require an enhancement. It should be noted that Dr. Benedetto’s enhancement rate is less than 5%, which means that the likelihood of needing an enhancement and having to pay the royalty fee is extremely low. The royalty fee is usually in the neighborhood of $150 to $300.

In consultation Dr. Benedetto personally helps you to determine if you are a good candidate for the LASIK procedure by offering patient interviews and evaluations free of charge.  In general, laser vision correction is not an expense covered by most insurance companies. However, there are some exceptions, and our staff will be happy to inquire for you. Vision Fee Plan

Interest free financing for up to one year, as well as pre-approved extended payment plans are available through Vision Fee Plan. You may apply by clicking on the link above for direct access to their secure website, or by phoning 1-877-837-2272 to speak to a customer service representative. Either way you will be pre-approved immediately if you qualify. There is no down payment required and you can arrange for interest free financing for 3, 6, or 12 months; or fixed, affordable payments for up to 60 months. You may finance all or part of the cost of surgery, and there are no pre-payment penalties.
